Idle FBO
Privacy Policy
Last updated September 29, 2026
Idle FBO is a game made by Sapphire Productions LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the game collects, why, who receives it, and the choices you have. The game has no accounts, and it never asks for your name, email address, contacts, photos or location.
What stays on your phone
Your game, meaning your airport, cash, upgrades, purchases and settings, is saved only on your phone. We never receive it. If your phone backs up its apps (iCloud on an iPhone, Google’s backup on Android), your save may be included in that backup, stored under your own account. Uninstalling the game deletes the save, and Settings → Reset progress starts a new game.
What the game sends, and who receives it
The game uses services from Google to show optional ads, to learn how the game is played and to fix crashes. Each receives information from your phone as described below, and uses it as Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services explain.
Ads (Google AdMob)
Ads play only when you choose to watch one for a reward, such as a boost. To show ads and measure them, AdMob collects information such as your phone’s advertising ID, its IP address, model and operating system, and how you interact with ads. Where the law requires it, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game asks for your consent before any ad loads. On an iPhone, the game asks your permission before its ads may use your advertising ID to follow you across other companies’ apps and websites.
Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)
To learn which parts of the game players enjoy and where they get stuck, the game sends game events, for example finishing the tutorial, buying an upgrade, unlocking an aircraft, watching a reward ad or making a purchase in the Shop. They come with an ID for this copy of the game (not your name, phone number or advertising ID), your phone’s model and operating system, the game’s version and your approximate location (country or region, worked out from your IP address). Analytics isn’t used for advertising. Google keeps these events for no longer than 14 months.
Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)
If the game crashes, it sends a report of what went wrong in the game’s code, with your phone’s model and operating system and an ID for this installation. Crash reports are kept for 90 days.
Purchases (App Store and Google Play)
Purchases are made through Apple or Google, who handle payment. We never see your payment details. The game receives a record of each purchase, so it can deliver what you bought and restore it later.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your personal information for money.
- We don’t ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location.
- We don’t use your information for anything but running, improving and paying for the game.
Some US state laws count personalized advertising as “sharing” personal information. You can stop it with the choices below.
Your choices
- Ad consent. Where the game asks for your consent to ads, Settings → Privacy choices lets you change your answer at any time.
- Tracking on an iPhone. You can allow or stop tracking in your iPhone’s Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Advertising ID on Android. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone’s settings, under Privacy → Ads (the exact place varies by phone).
- Everything. Uninstalling the game stops all collection.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or California, you may have the right to know what personal information is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to its use or to take it elsewhere, and not to be treated differently for asking. Because the game has no accounts, we hold nothing that names you, and the information Google’s services collect is tied to the IDs described above rather than to you. Write to us at the address below and we’ll help as far as we can. In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom you may also complain to your data protection authority.
Where European and UK law requires a legal basis: ads are shown with your consent where consent is required, analytics and crash reports rest on our legitimate interest in improving the game and fixing its faults, and purchases are handled to deliver what you bought.
Children
Idle FBO is meant for people 13 and older and isn’t directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the game and want their information removed, write to us.
Where the information goes
Google may handle the information described above in the United States and other countries, and protects it when it leaves Europe as the law requires, for example with the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. The information travels to Google encrypted.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
